"ENTREPRETHON" Start-Up

The "Entrepreneurship and Innovation" Club at Beder University College, with the support of the Department of Economics and Business, successfully completed the first "ENTREPRETHON" Start-Up competition.
High school graduates from all over Albania participated in this competition, while students of the "Economic Informatics" study program served as mentors in this competition.
Participating graduates presented their innovative business ideas in front of the jury consisting of: Mr. Shkëlzen Marku (chairman of the jury), founder and CEO of Enterimpact, Co-founder and Director of YSB Balkans; Ms. Faola Hodaj, Director of the Innovation Directorate in the Municipality of Tirana; Ms. Elda Dollija, head of the Department of Economics and Business at Beder University College.
From 13 well-studied and structured high-quality projects, the jury selected the 3 best ideas, crowning them with 3 prizes:
🏆 First place won a 100% scholarship at Beder + Tablet University College. This award was won by the high school graduate from Librazhdi, Esmeralda Qytyku, who was presented with a concrete initiative in her town for organizing decorations for birthdays or other events, enabling her to generate income from this age.
🥈 The second place won an 80% scholarship at Beder University College + Smart watch. This award was won by graduates from Elbasan, Andi and Ardit Zylali, who presented in detail the structuring of a network of self-service gas stations, as a business model that reduces labor costs and increases service quality.
🥉 The third place won a 60% scholarship at Beder University College + earphones. This award was won by the graduates of the Economic Technical High School in Tirana, Eno Meko and Enso Bejkolli, who presented their project and business plan "Student World", a complex which aimed to accommodate students in premises with competitive prices, including and many facilities to help them.
