A study visit to the Museum of the Bank of Albania

Students of the Department of Economics and Business at the University College conducted a study visit to the Museum of the Bank of Albania in the framework of the International Day of Museums. They were accompanied on this visit by the staff of the department and received by representatives of the bank, responsible for escorting them to the museum premises and providing relevant information.
 
During this visit, the students were introduced not only to the museum's facilities, but also to the various historical developments and the stages in which the consolidation of the institution has gone.
On the first floor, the students were introduced to the Treasury Room or as it is otherwise known "Rondo", where the rich numismatic collection of the Bank of Albania was presented. Also, they had the chance to become closely acquainted with the historical and numismatic values that the currency carries, through the display of treasures, collections of coins and banknotes, which have circulated and been used in the historical territories of the country, from antiquity to the present day.
 
Meanwhile, on the second floor, they were introduced to the history of the institution of the central bank in Albania, its role in maintaining price stability and guaranteeing the financial stability of the country, as well as constitutional functions, such as the father and the opportunity to visit the open exhibition especially for the International Day of Museums.
 
On the other hand, the students were introduced to the bank's facilities that serve to educate the public and where visitors can be informed interactively. At the end, he presented to the students how the Albanian people have conceptualized different stages of development through the approach to money summarized in a collage with sequences from different Albanian cinematography films.
