The students of the second year of the Economic Informatics program integrated the knowledge gained in three subjects: "Data base", "Web programming" and "e-Commerce" by concretizing them in a joint project.
The students designed their online business by applying the knowledge gained in the e-commerce course, designed its database according to the techniques studied in the database course and created its website within the web programming course. All the work was done following the instructions and guidance of the lecturers of each subject. In this way, the students practiced the knowledge gained in the auditorium in concrete initiatives, they practiced in the design of the database and the creation of the website as well as they began to think creatively to devise their online business.
This approach helps and encourages students to undertake entrepreneurial initiatives using the facilities offered by the Internet and Information and Communication Technology, the optimal combination of theory and practice, in accordance with the purpose of this study program.
