Through this activity, this department pledges to serve as an independent guide to sustainability, helping our actors and audiences to break down barriers, supporting them in achieving sustainable objectives and achieving results of sustainable current value. This activity began with a Discussion Panel that brought together the actors of the "quadratic model", policy makers, academia, business and civil society. The activity opened with the welcoming speech of the Rector of Bedër University College, Prof. Rrahim Ombashi, who congratulated the initiative and emphasized that the quadratic model is undoubtedly the driving engine of the three interconnected pillars of sustainability, "economic pillar-social pillar-environmental pillar". Part of the panel as a representative of policy-making bodies was Mrs. Sorina Koti, Member of Parliament of Albania and deputy. Chairman of the Economy and Finance Committee. Ms. In her speech, Koti presented the initiatives undertaken and highlighted the progress made so far at the policy level. She emphasized that Albania is a little slow in meeting the objectives of sustainable development and undoubtedly the involvement of as many actors as possible would speed it up. The most important step taken at the policy level in this context is precisely the approval of the action plan and the determination of the calendar of activities for their fulfillment. Civil Society is undoubtedly the initiator of many positive developments in the country and undoubtedly also in issues related to sustainability. In this context, we had Mrs. as part of the panel. Lira Hakani, representative of the "Eden" Center, which is ranked as the organization with the most activities for environmental and sustainability issues and undoubtedly with the most impact in this field.
