During the training sessions, the students had the opportunity to develop their communication and cooperation skills through various activities. The internationally certified trainer, Erida Shkalla, emphasized the importance of punctuality and self-confidence, which are crucial for success. They were encouraged to freely share their thoughts and ideas and be themselves. Students participating in the training showed remarkable progress in their personal and professional development. They learned to listen actively, express themselves confidently and work effectively in a team. They also became more aware of their strengths and weaknesses, and how they can use them to achieve their goals. The students used this opportunity to improve themselves and to apply these skills in their future endeavours. 12MAR ENTREPRETHON START-UP The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club opens calls for applications to the competition for the startup "ENTREPRETHON" for all high school graduates in the Republic of Albania. This competition consists in the discovery of successful graduates who have ideas for a sustainable business or with an impact on society. If you are looking to develop these ideas and projects, apply to the competition for the startup "ENTREPRETHON" and come for them presented at Bedër University College with a jury composed of experts in the field and members of the Bedër staff. To become part of this competition, apply through Google Forms by filling in the necessary information or via email: [email protected] The deadlines to apply are until 16. 04. 2023, then the best ideas are selected, they will be processed in cooperation with staff and on 30.04.2023 the presentation will be made at the College Bedër University. 08MAR Technology, my explosive weapon for success The Department of Economics and Business at Bedër University College organized the open seminar with Ermir Mamaqi, PhD candidate and Sales Trainer. During this seminar, Mr. Mamaqi explained to the students how technology, as an inevitable reality now, affects the success of all of us if used properly. The important thing is to make good use of it by adapting it to our needs. Mr. Mamaqi advised the students to follow their dreams because they are at the perfect age to experiment and find themselves, given that business, management, marketing or leadership skills are skills that are not born with a person but are acquired over time. 20FEB Entrepreneurship Bootcamp Students of the Department of Economics and Business participated in the entrepreneurship bootcamp, within the Youth Entrepreneurship Education Program (YEEP), organized by Changemakers Albania, in collaboration with MeOut Group, funded by the European Union. The event started with a presentation of the program and agenda by the Executive Director of Changemakers Albania, Mrs. Reila Bozdo, Mr The trainers of this bootcamp were Mrs. Rafaela Rica, Mr. Gentian Shaqiri and Mr. Dritan Mezini who, with their experience, conveyed to the students very good ideas and techniques that help to achieve success in entrepreneurship. Their inspiring stories motivated students to look everywhere for new opportunities that can turn from ideas into successful businesses. Through interactive games, the message was conveyed to the students that leadership is based on communication and that the quality of our lives is directly proportional to our communication. There was also talk about the use of the Internet and the amazing benefits that come from it, because if knowledge is not accompanied by digital tools, then even the best ideas are destined to fail. The importance of marketing and knowledge is extremely important for anyone who wants to succeed in the field of entrepreneurship. At the end of this event, the students were provided with certificates. 11JAN Professional training, a bridge between the university and the labor market The Program of Economic Informatics and Finance Accounting at Bedër University College developed the training on the topic "Professional training, a bridge between the university and the labor market" within the extracurricular activities provided by the department for this academic year. Invited to hold this training was Mrs. Silvana Gerxhani, expert with 15 years of experience in the banking sector and founder of the consulting center "DD Business Solutions". First, the center's focus was presented and how it aims to connect students to the labor market. The main goal of the training was to complement the knowledge gained during studies with practical skills that align more with the labor market, integrating specifics from the banking sector. In the last part, the students were introduced to the main departments of a bank and the soft and technical skills required by each of them and ended with a free discussion. 23DEC Entrepreneurship and the skills of the entrepreneur The Faculty of Technology and Business organized the open lecture on the topic: "Entrepreneurship and the skills of the entrepreneur" with Mr. Shkelzen Marku Founder and CEO of Enterimpact, Co-Founder and Director of YSB Balkans. Mr. Marku conveyed to the students in a very practical way his several years of experience in the development and provision of business development services, consulting and mentoring of MSMEs, startups and entrepreneurs with social impact. As an expert often involved in the design and implementation of financial and non-financial instruments in support of entrepreneurs in Albania and other countries of the Western Balkans, Mr. Mark brought to the students' attention skills and techniques that must be displayed and adapted to become a successful entrepreneur, further encouraging the spirit of initiative and creativity of the students to go beyond the framework of formal education and think in accordance with the demands of the labor market in Albania. The students welcomed the training further reflecting on their projections for the future. 03DEC LDA Balkan Beder University College signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Balkan Leadership Development Association. LDA Balkan is a non-governmental and non-profit organization run by young professionals, focused on leadership, democracy, good governance, entrepreneurship, technology and innovation, professional growth and many areas of management. Through this cooperation, the students of Beder University College have the opportunity to participate in the activities organized in Albania and the Balkans, as well as in various projects where this company will apply. This agreement was inaugurated with the participation of students in the LEAP Albania 2022 Conference where Beder was one of the participating partners. https://leapin.lda.al/ 02DEC HEC MONTREAL, ERP STIMULATION GAME Thanks to the collaboration between Beder University College and Tor Vergata University (Rome), second-year students of Economic Informatics program participated in a simulation program called "HEC MONTREAL, ERP STIMULATION GAME" of 4 sessions under the lead of Prof. Assoc. Gianluca Mattarocci. Enterprise Resource Planning Simulation is a unique business simulation technology developed at HEC Montréal that enables the simulation of near-real-life business contexts of large corporations' Information Systems. The game aims to train participants in the market, encouraging them to use their knowledge of finance, management and marketing.
